GETTING TO KNOW YOUR DASHBOARD
When you log into Surge, you will arrive at your personal dashboard.
The tiles represent items that may need your attention, and you can click on them to see specifically what you are needing to do.
On the main page of the dashboard you can quickly:
- View and update your profile
- View or send messages between team members and departments
- View any upcoming Live Events or scheduled in person learning sessions
- See the course titles that you have coming due or that are overdue
- View your overall completion and view/send badges or rewards to your team members.
The collapsible side panel on the left will direct you to other areas of the system, i.e.: Resource Centre, Manage Users, Reports, etc.
Under the upcoming events, there is an area that will allow you to add links or resources for your staff.
Click on the pencil icon to add them. The section will expand, and you can click on the + to add a link.
Type in the name of the resource and paste the URL in the space provided. Click ADD to save.
The resource will be added. Click the + to add additional links as needed
.
The Dashboard allows System Admins and Education Coordinators to create badges or achievements for the staff.
Rewards can be established if you would like to provide incentives for reaching certain badges or milestones. The staff can see their badges and rewards that they have achieved via their personal dashboard.
