What is a Learning Pathway (LP)
A learning pathway is a number of modules/courses that are grouped together to form one course. The purpose of a learning pathway is for learners to take the courses in a sequential order to ensure the building of knowledge.
The steps to create a learning pathway are:
- Click on the resource centre tab, from the main menu.
- Select the courses that you would like to add (they do not need to be in order, as the order can be changed at anytime)
- Click ‘Add to LP’ from the top menu bar
- Click on “Create a New Learning Pathway”
This will take you to the adding a new Resource Editing Page.
- Type in the name of the Learning Pathway, select the category (or create a new one)
Tip: Add the number of modules included in the Learning Pathway (i.e. Back Stretching for Seniors (3 modules)
- Click Submit and Continue
From here you can add additional resources (i.e. courses, live events, documents, surveys). You can also move the order in which the courses will appear to your learner. This can be done by moving the dash marks next to the item number. You can also delete a resource by clicking on the x.
