HOW TO EDIT A SURVEY
INTRODUCTION
Questions can ONLY be edited when the survey is Pending Publish, once a survey has been published, questions can no longer be edited after publication. Minor Changes can be made to a survey after the survey is published, from the Survey Library.
To Edit the Survey:
- Click SURVEYS from the side menu bar.
- Click Pending Publish.
- Click the checkboxes next to the survey name that will be edited.
- Click the pencil icon to EDIT.
The changes/edit’s that can be completed include:
- The title and instructions
- Changing the questions and options by overwriting the current text.
- Delete or add options
- Delete the question if it is not required in the current survey
- Click ADD QUESTIONS to add more questions to your survey
- Click Save to complete your changes.
Survey Library Edits
Editing AFTER the survey is published. Edits after the initial survey is published will be saved, and the edit’s will be included for those who are taking the survey. Reporting will include notes indicating if a question has been edited/deactivated etc.
The edit options include:
- Adding, Importing or Deactivating questions
- Adding, Deleting or Editing a Section Name
To edit from the Survey Library
- Click on the survey name
- Click Edit from the top menu options
- Click on the applicable option and complete your changes.
- Click Save
