UNDERSTANDING BULK SETTINGS IN POLICY PROFESSIONAL
Bulk settings allow you to apply changes to multiple documents at the same time. Bulk settings are activated when multiple documents are selected.
Bulk Settings Field Descriptions
- Total Items Selected
Displays the number of documents selected. - Original Date
The date the policy was originally established. - Supersede Date
Optional. Enter a date if the document was reviewed or approved before the next scheduled review cycle. - Custom 1 / Custom 2
Fields for additional custom information. - Reviewers
Add or remove reviewer(s) for the selected policies. - Approvers
Add or remove approver(s) for the selected policies. - Select Header/Footer
Choose the appropriate header and footer for the selected documents. - Next Review Date
Set the next scheduled review date. - Frequency
Select the review cycle frequency (e.g., 1 year, 3 years). - User Access Settings
Restrict policy access based on user roles (e.g., Education Coordinator). - Restrict to Department/Education Group(s)
Restrict policy access based on selected Education Group(s). - Original Document Download
Allows reviewers and approvers to download the most recent published version. - Description
Add a brief description to the selected policies. - Policy References
Add references (e.g., legislation) to the selected policies. - Manage Policies
Assign manager(s) to the selected policies. Managers can administer and assign policies. - Display Role Instead of Reviewer Name
Displays the reviewer’s role instead of their name. - Display Role Instead of Approver Name
Displays the approver’s role instead of their name.
