HOW TO RETIRE A POLICY
At times, a document may no longer be required and can be retired. The function to retire policies is based on access level.
All retired documents are retained on file and can be accessed using the Published Policies – Include Archived and Retired filter.
To Retire a Document:
- From the publish tab, locate the policy
- Click on the detail icon (cogwheel)
- Scroll to the bottom until you see the red Retire Policy button.
- Add the reason why the policy needs to be retired.
- Click Submit.
