HOW TO CREATE A LIVE EVENT
Live Events can be used in a couple of different ways. Live Events can be used to invite employees to an event, in which they can register for the event, or can be scheduled to attend the event by the organizer. Live Events can also be used to mark courses and/or skills as complete/obtained. Multiple sessions can be added to an event.
HOW TO CREATE A LIVE EVENT THAT REQUIRES REGISTRATION
- Click LIVE EVENTS from the side menu bar
- Click MANAGE EVENTS from the main LIVE EVENTS Page
- Click CREATE NEW LIVE EVENT
- Type in the Event Name, Event Description and Click Submit and Continue
- Add all applicable session details, which include: Session Date & time, the Host name, Location, web address and length of the session.
- Select the invite type. If the employee is self registering select open invite, if you are registering the employee select assign.
- Adjust the seating capacity if applicable
- Select the groups or individuals you would like to attend the session.
- If you select the option to assign to a group, and there are employees that are not required, you can also exempt individuals from the group selection.
- If you would like to: Add Course Completion to the session, Add Multiple Sessions, or PDF Documents CLICK SUBMIT AND CONTINUE. If you are done, CLICK SUBMIT.
Adding Course Completions to the session, or Adding Multiple Sessions
- Select the Courses and skills you would like associated with this event/session using the drop down arrows.
- Click the up arrow if you would like to add any supporting documents or YouTube Video link.
- Select the Yes/No if you would like to add additional sessions to the event.
- CLICK SUBMIT AND CONTINUE
ADDING DETAILS TO YOUR REPEAT LIVE SESSIONS
The details to the event will automatically be copied over (i.e course completions, survey etc.) unless you deselect the blue button by sliding it OFF.
- Select the end date for the sessions by clicking on the calendar icon.
- Select the frequency of events, your options include: Daily, Weeks, Months and Years.
- CLICK SUBMIT
